PM Modi fulfilled Balasaheb`s dream to built Ram Mandir: CM Eknath Shinde

Ahead of inauguration of the historic Ram Mandir at Ayodhya on January 22, chief minister Eknath Shinde on Friday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has fulfilled late Balasaheb Thackeray`s dream to build a Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. Shinde said this in Nashik today where PM Modi inaugurated the National Youth Festival followed by Modi`s road show.

CM Eknath Shinde posted on his X, “Prime Minister Modi has fulfilled the dream of Shiv Sena chief Balasaheb Thackeray to build a Ram temple in Ayodhya. Modi ji went to Lakshadweep and there was an earthquake in Maldives. Due to this, the country (Maldives) received a stern warning that any dishonor towards the country (India) will not be tolerated.”

On Monday, Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde accepted the invitation from Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and Vishwa Hindu Parishad office bearers to attend the inauguration ceremony of Ram Mandir. After accepting the invite, Shinde said that the dream of late Balasaheb Thackeray and his mentor Anand Dighe to build Ram Mandir in Ayodhya has come true. Shinde added that if Bal Thackeray had he been alive, he would have patted Prime Minister Narendra Modi`s back for the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya and scrapping of Article 370 that gave special status to Jammu and Kashmir. 

Shinde earlier said that he has lined up several events in Thane city and state wide on the occasion of Ram Mandir inauguration. He has also instructed the Shiv Sena volunteers to reach eight lakh homes and distribute saffron flags and conduct religious events to commemorate Lord Ram`s Pran Pratistha. 

PM Modi will inaugurate the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya on January 22 and the preparations of this grand `Pran Pratistha` ceremony are in full swing not only in Ayodhya but across the country. 

PM Modi is in Maharashtra today and also inaugurated the longest sea bridge in Navi Mumbai, the Mumbai Trans Harbour Link (MTHL)- a Rs 17,840 crore project connecting Sewri to Nhava Sheva. MTHL also known as Atal Setu named is after former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee is a record-breaking breakthrough in connectivity, infrastructure, and technology. 

He also inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of multiple development projects worth more than Rs 12,700 crore, in Navi Mumbai.
