Megastar Chiranjeevi, who attended the Pran Pratishtha ceremony in Ayodhya on Monday, said that the experience was “wonderful” and the day belonged to the whole country. “It`s a wonderful experience. Day made for the people of entire India,” Chiranjeevi told ANI after the ceremony.
Chiranjeevi and his son, RRR star Ram Charan, arrived in Ayodhya on Monday morning to attend the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony. Before leaving for Ayodhya, Chiranjeevi had told ANI that it is a rare opportunity. “That is really great. Overwhelming. We feel it`s a rare opportunity. I feel Lord Hanuman who is my deity, has personally invited me…We are so fortunate to witness this Pran Pratishta…,” he said.
PM Modi, Bachchan greet each other
Amid deafening drum rolls and joyous chanting of `Jai Shri Ram` at the opening of the grand temple in Ayodhya, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was pictured exchanging pleasantries with megastar Amitabh Bachchan on Monday.
In visuals that surfaced online, PM Modi, who led the rituals during the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Shri Ram Lalla at his majestic abode in Ayodhya, was seen greeting the `Big B` with folded hands with the latter reciprocating in kind. The senior Bachchan was accompanied by his son and actor Abhishek Bachchan as he arrived in Ayodhya earlier on Monday.
Jackie Shroff: feel great that I was called
Actor Jackie Shroff said he was feeling blessed after attending the Pran Pratishtha ceremony at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on Monday.
Speaking to ANI, Jackie said, “I have received the blessing…I feel great that I was called. Whenever I was given the role of an inspector, my name was `Ram`…”
Besides Jackie, other stars including Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif, Vicky Kaushal, Vivek Oberoi, Madhuri Dixit and Sonu Nigam also marked their presence at the ceremony.
As the `Pran Pratishtha` ceremony unfolded, army choppers were pictured showering petals on the temple. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also showered petals on workers, who were a part of the construction team that shaped the grand Ram Temple.
Ayushmann calls it a historic moment
Actor Ayushmann Khurrana on Monday attended the Pran Pratistha ceremony for the new Ram Lalla idol at Ayodhya`s Ram Mandir. After witnessing it live, Ayushmann briefly spoke to ANI and described the ceremony as a “historic moment.” “It is a historic moment, thank you so much for inviting me here. Everybody should visit this place, it`s beautiful,” he said.
