JAMMU: A jawan of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) on Tuesday allegedly shot himself dead with his service rifle in Nowshera area of Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district.
Police sources said that the jawan — identified as CT Sarith — was posted at Tain Bridge, Nowshera. The cause of the suicide was not immediately known, and an in-house inquiry was launched to investigate the same.
