NEW DELHI: BJP on Tuesday extended party president J P Nadda’s term till June 2024.
“BJP national executive unanimously decided to extend party president J P Nadda’s term till June 2024,” home minister Amit Shah said.
His current tenure of three years will be over on January 20. State polls are due in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh later this year, followed by Karnataka, Tripura, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Telangana next year.
