MUMBAI: Maharashtra’s former health minister Deepak Sawant suffered injuries after his car was hit by a dumper truck on Mumbai-Ghodbunder highway on Friday.
He was admitted to a hospital in Mumbai.
Sawant was on his way to Palghar when the accident occurred.
The truck has been impounded by the police.
