Cast and crew of Vijay – Venkat Prabhu’s ‘Thalapathy 68’

We had previously reported that Vijay is teaming up with director Venkat Prabhu for the first time and the film, tentatively titled Thalapathy 68, is produced by Kalapathi S Aghoram’s AGS Entertainment.

While the film’s pooja happened earlier this month, the makers have just released a clip of the ceremony through which they also revealed the cast and crew of the film.

Thalapathy 68’s cast will include Prashanth, Prabhudeva, Sneha, Laila, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Mohan, Jayaram, Ajmal Amir, Yogi Babu, VTV Ganesh, and Venkat Prabhu’s usual collaborators Premgi, Vaibhav, Aravind Akash and Ajay Raj.

The filmmaker’s go-to music director, Yuvan Shankar Raja, will be composing music for Thalapathy 68. The film will mark the reunion of Vijay and Yuvan after 2003’s Pudhiya Geethai, which remains their only collaboration to date.

The film’s cinematography will be by Siddhartha Nuni while editing will be handled by Venkat Raajen. Thalapathy 68, which went on floors earlier this month, is currently in production.
